Procedure in creating your own Back Pack Card Craft:
Step 1 Download the Print & Go Back Pack Card Craft, then print it out on cardstock. Get the first page with the backpack front and back image (the one after the example page). Cut it out and put glue on the white back side of the backpack, then put them together.
Step 2 Get the outside front pocket page, then cut it out too.
Step 3 Get the third page with the inside front pocket and backpack straps. Cut it out and attach it to the outside front pocket page that you cut out on step 2.
Step 4 Fold it in half like a card. Then, glue the front pocket card on the front part of the backpack (which is labeled “glue the front pocket here”).
Step 5 Add the backpack straps. Follow the fold lines and add glue. Attach it to the back of the backpack with four small squares and a glue icon. This serves as a guide on where to glue the backpack straps. Now your backpack is almost done! Let’s add a few more details.
And before adding those details… Here’s a freebie for your little one! This Back Pack Card Craft is already a simple way to teach little children about showing gratitude. And if you want more activities to teach them to be thankful, you may want to get a copy of the Print & Go Gratitude Activities! It includes a Gratitude Scavenger Hunt and Tree of Gratitude activities.

Step 6 Cut out the objects on the backpack items page. It includes a composition book, notebook, journal, watercolors, paintbrush, pencil, and an apple.
Step 7 Open the front pocket card. Glue the school items to the inside portion of the front pocket (which is labeled "glue the items here".) Use your creativity!
Step 8 Write a message for your child’s teacher on the notebook illustration. You can write “I am glad you’re my Teacher!” or “We are grateful to you today and every day!”. If you are making this for teacher’s day, you can also write “Thank you for making learning fun. Happy Teacher’s Day!”. Also, if you are making this for your child to encourage him on his first day in school, you can say “Have a great year!” or “Have fun in school!”. Remember, a short and simple note can make someone’s day happy!
Before you go… Here is another gift from us! Aside from this Back Pack Card, you may want to give a back-to-school gift or teacher’s day gift to your child’s teacher.
