2 Counting Apple Seeds
Practice counting 1 to 10 with the Counting Apple Seeds worksheet! In this apple-themed activity, you will have to count the seeds inside the apples, then color the correct number with crayons or markers! Seems like an easy task - but remember, practice makes perfect!
3 Letter Sort Apple Trees
Is your preschooler often confused with uppercase and lowercase letters? Then the Letter Sort Apple Trees worksheet is a great way to practice and learn this skill! He will have to group together apples with uppercase and lowercase letters into two different apple trees. For example, the first apple has a picture of a cat. You have to emphasize the /c/ sound by repeating it to him. Say c-c-c-cat. If he is able to identify the basket with the correct letter that matches that sound, tell him to color the basket. It's a great way to check his knowledge of sounds and letters!
7 Graph the Apples
Up for some math challenge? This worksheet will help preschoolers understand the concept of graphing, specifically pictographs. They have to count the apples with the same color, and color the corresponding number of boxes to complete the graph! Once done, you can also ask some questions like, "Which apple has the most?" or "Which apple has the least?". They can answer this by just looking at the graph they've just made. If they are able to do this, you'll know they can understand and interpret simple graphs!
8 Order Apples by Size
Apples come in different colors and sizes. In this worksheet, they have to color, cut out, and glue the apples in order from smallest to largest and then largest to smallest. This helps them understand basic math concepts, while also developing their fine motor skills through cutting, coloring, and pasting the apples!
