Procedures for making your own Rocking Cupid:
Step 1 Download the Print & Go Rocking Cupid Craft. You can choose from the two versions included in the printable - it has a colored and a black and white version. Print out the template on white paper or cardstock. If you use the black-and-white version, color with crayons or markers before proceeding to the next step.
Step 2 Use a scissor to cut out Cupid’s parts! Follow the outline. Guide your kids when cutting out small parts or you may help them with it too.
Step 3 Get the white half-circle and fold it in the middle, following the broken lines. Then, use glue to secure the left side, leaving the bottom part open.
Step 4 Assemble Cupid’s body, head, and arms. Start by attaching the pink triangular shape to the folded half-circle you just made. Meanwhile, attach the arms on each side of the bottom part of the head.
Step 5 The white and pink triangle shape will serve as Cupid’s body. Attach the heart in the middle part, then glue the head and arms above it. Now it looks like Cupid is holding the heart!
Step 6 Glue the small hearts at the end of each stick. There go Cupid’s arrows! Attach them on his back so he can shoot looooove arrows!
Step 7 Lastly, add the wings by gluing it at the back of Cupid.
Now your rocking Cupid is complete! Slightly open the bottom part to keep it standing and just tap the sides and it will begin rocking back and forth!
